Project Title: Impact of Soil Degradation on the Loss of Ancient Carbon from Lowland Peatland Soils Drained for Agriculture

We’re offering the chance to undertake a fascinating PhD looking at the age of the carbon that is being lost from drained agricultural peatlands, and how habitat restoration impacts on these dynamics. This project has the opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and learn multiple analytical techniques while providing impactful new data.
